Mantas and Rasa, a compassionate Lithuanian couple, experienced the heartbreaking loss of their cherished ten-year-old dog, Aibo. The void left by Aiboβs departure weighed heavily on their hearts, casting a shadow of sadness.
However, life took an unexpected turn when they relocated to Koh Kood Island, where they have resided for the past six years. In their newfound home, the couple opened their hearts to the plight of stray dogs, adopting a total of 15.
Their daily routine involves not only caring for their adopted furry friends but also embarking on a 40 km journey each day to provide food, administer medicine, and conduct essential check-ups for other strays on the island.
Despite the love they have found in their life in Thailand, the memory of Aibo remains etched in their hearts. Reflecting on Aiboβs illness, they recall the heart-wrenching circumstances where they could only express their love for him over the phone, feeling utterly helpless.
In their current chapter of life, Mantas and Rasa channel their love and attention towards the 15 stray dogs they have embraced. Many of these dogs were once sick and injured, but through the coupleβs tender care, they have regained their health, transforming their stories into heartwarming tales of resilience.
The coupleβs commitment to the well-being of these animals is truly heartening, turning their journey into one marked by compassion, dedication, and the enduring spirit of love.
